Home.

It's good to be home.

I've chosen who I want to be.

I'm not who you think I am. I am afraid to be free, to live the life that I want to live. Chains and shackles are the norm for me. Trying to live up to everyone's expectations and standards, I have never set any for me. I once heard that if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything (Malcolm X), but standing takes strength; an internal strength that you gain from knowing who you are and what you want to do.

Life is tough enough without adding someone else's script to it.

At the end of the day...

I'm glad that I am finally home. At the end of the day, I'm usually tired and ready to just chill. Today is different; I have lots of energy and I am ready to take on the world. Life is good.

A New Day.

About to get ready for work. OMG, just having to drag myself in today is almost unbearable, but I'm on the path to something better.

Another long, boring day at work.

Another long, boring day at work. Looking at the clock and looking forward to going home. One good thing about work is that I have a job, but I believe a career is what I should have looked for.

We ESTP types tend to get bored easily unless we find an outlet for our boredom elsewhere.

Our approach on life is on a day-by-day basis, so long-term commitments are not naturally comfortable for us. Although we may feel tremendously committed, we want to take our commitments day by day. (http://www.personalitypage.com/ESTP_rel.html)

Anyway, another day in the life...

Went shopping today for a Savignon Blanc for the Shrimp and Feta stew. Can't wait to taste it.

Until later.

New Adventure

I am on a new adventure. Having just seen the movie "Julie and Julia", I am inspired to resume a favorite activity. I love cooking, but the journey was cut short by someone who said "you can't cook things like that, you need a cookbook".

Well I don't have a cookbook, but I have a desire and a will. My first recipe to try: Shrimp and Feta stew. So here's to you Julie (and Julia). Thanks for reawakening my passion.

I'll be back soon with the results.

That's some bullsh*t!

You help someone to advance and achieve their goals and then they turn on you. As if they could even get there themselves!!

The nerve of some people and their vicious ambitions. Someday, their actions will come back and bite them in the ass.

I'm done building my bridge, I will now get over it.
