Invest in yourself.

There are great benefits in building yourself and investing in yourself. First you gain skills and knowledge that you didn't possess. Second, you gain confidence as you invest in your education as well as your appearance. Third, positive begets positive. As you do positive things for yourself, it will attract more positives to you.

Managing up.

When climbing the corporate ladder, it may be necessary to manage up. Beware that managing up should be for both party's benefit. If your manager moves up, then you may too. If your sole goal is to manage your supervisor, boss or manager out of his (or her) job, be careful.

This approach (managing your boss out of their job) is sticky for everyone involved. Keep your manager's (and your) best interest at heart.

Up, up and away.

Using your gifts and talents as you rise up the corporate ladder will help you to soar to new heights. Your gifts and talents are unique to you (someone may be be able to do the same thig, but not the same way you do), use them to rocket yourself to the top.

Keep stress in check.

Climbing the corporate ladder can be extremely stressful. Keep stress in check by taking time out for yourself, spending time with friends and reviewing your goals. Taking care of yourself during stressful times is the best way to continue on your journey without missing a beat. Remember just because it's "lonely at the top" doesn't mean you have to be there alone.

Hope this helps. See ya tomorrow.

Focus, focus, focus

Focus is one of the main driving forces in achieving your goals. Without focus, we flounder and become wishy-washy. After stating your goals, focus on them to achieve them.
